Find ways to overcome your own mental barriers.
Perhaps they originated in the self doubt of someone whose opinion weighs heavy on your life.
Perhaps you deceived yourself.
Build your confidence such that the only one that has a say in how you perceive yourself is you, not through rose colored glasses or muddy goggles but exactly as you are.
If there are areas in your character, personality, speech, appearance that need genuine improvement, make incremental changes that stick. Always aim to be better than the previous version of you. Not at the expense of other’s peace but for benefit of all you are and the roles you play in the life you’ve chosen that are interwoven in the lives of others.
